Through a history of iron and bloodshed, you’ll explore the history of the Vikings, those infamous warriors who ventured into the green and desolate lands of Ireland. As a reminder of this ancient Nordic past, Dublin still holds remains waiting to be discovered. Learn about the golden age of the Vikings, their rise, culture, traditions, and their special connection to this wonderful city.

We’ll discover Dublinia, explore a meaningful Sculpture, walk by the famous Trinity College, discover Dublin Castle and its history and finally learn the twilight of the Vikings at Christ Church Cathedral (all entry tickets are not included).

Tips

This itinerary pass by the following suggested museums/sites (tickets below are not included within this tour):

    • Trinity College (inner courtyard free entrance; choose to enter the great “Book of Kells” exhibition! – we recommend advance reservation – open from Monday to Saturday 8:30 AM–6:30 PM and on Sundays from 9:30AM to 5PM)
  • Dublin Castle (open everyday from 09.45AM to 5.45PM)
  • Christ Church (open from Monday to Saturday from 9:30AM to 7PM and Sundays from 12:30PM to 7PM)
  • Dublinia (open everyday from 10am – 5pm)

If you want to visit both Dublinia and Christ Church Cathedral we recommend buying a combo ticket at Dublinia’s ticket office.

Entrance is highly recommended to enjoy our itinerary to the fullest, but it is not mandatory! The aim of this itinerary is to narrate visitors with insightful storytelling, and enjoy places even from the outside.
