Discovering the ​​archaeological site of Delphi

At the foot of Mount Parnassus stands the sanctuary of Delphi, the most important in the world known to the ancient Greeks. Human presence in the area is supposed to date back to the Neolithic period, but the site of Delphi, as we know it today, was a religious and propitiatory site from the mid-8th century BCE.
