A unique tour for a special person. Explore Milan through the eyes of Leonardo da Vinci.
Leonardo first found himself in Milan in 1482, at the height of the Italian Renaissance. He was probably sent as an ambassador to the duchy of Milan by Lorenzo ‘the Magnificent’ de Medici to show off the artistic talents of the Florentine masters. At this time, Milan was under the control of the powerful Sforza family, specifically under the rule of Duke Ludovico Maria Sforza, known as “il Moro” (the Moor), who recognised the talent of the Florentine artist and entrusted him with various projects. In a renaissance Milanese setting, this journey through time aims to explore masterpieces of multiple kinds created during this colourful historical period. It will be possible to see Leonardo’s uniqueness by observing his works and projects. Furthermore, we will retrace the characteristic streets and places of his stay, locations that still have so much to tell.
